Retoon of Alan Shearer

Alan Shearer Appointed Newcastle United Manager.

I couldn't be happier this morning when I learned that, Alan Shearer has been appointed the new manager of Newcastle United. If there is ever a fooballer I salute more, it is him. Amidst this time of crisis where relegation is a possibility, Newcastle need a messiah. Someone to rescue the club from the trouble the owner has got them into. Who is better then the prodigal son himself to do this.

Alan Shearer, no doubt was the greatest player ever for Newcastle United. He was the Newcastle leading goalscorer, their captain, England captain, and hold the best record of scoring in the premier league. A very inspirational figure on and off the pitch, he can provide the motivational lift to the demoralized Newcastle stars. He can get Michael Owen scoring again, and if this works there is no doubt that Newcastle can stay in the league next term and they can start rebuilding.

The first thing Alan did when he was appointed was to get Ian Dowie to be his assistant. This was deemed as a brilliant move since Ian has vast managerial experience in his belly and will be able to lend Shearer all the help he needs. Their first challenge this Saturday is the game against Chelsea, and if the lads can repeat their performance in their first leg it would be great. Let's hope for the best and whatever the outcome is Alan can rest assure that he will get all the time and moral support from the Toon Army like no one has ever had before.
